Word Count
Short stories should be between 1,000 and 4,000 words in length.

We do not charge any submission or reading fees to our authors.

info What We Look For
Out of Print is an online literary journal dedicated to the art of short fiction. We are actively seeking original writing that is either written in English or translated into English from other languages.
While our scope is global, our thematic core focuses on stories related to the Indian subcontinent. We welcome voices that explore the nuances of this region through diverse perspectives and styles.
- check_circle Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.
- check_circle For translations, the translator must have obtained permission from the original author or their estate.
